The RSPCA is looking for a man who slapped a dog and filmed it in sickening 'viral prank'

The RSPCA is appealing for information about a man who slapped a dog and filmed it for a video.

The 30-second clip was uploaded onto social media this month, and has since gone viral.

It starts with a man seen getting out of his car and walking towards a black pick up truck with two Bordeaux mastiffs sitting in the back.

One of the dogs is poking its head out of the window, and looking at the man, who puts out his hand and appears to give the animal some food.

This is the moment the dog is slapped across the face (RSPCA)

The dog stares for a moment and the man suddenly slaps the animal in the head.

It barks and a second Bordeaux mastiff emerges, the Mirror reports .

RSPCA investigators believe the video was filmed in the UK - due to the number plates of passing vehicles - but it’s unclear where the incident occurred.

The man is described as white, with fair hair.

He was wearing black shiny shoes, black trousers and a white, long-sleeve t-shirt.

Anyone who believes they recognise the dogs, know where this incident took place or has any information on who is responsible should contact the RSPCA appeal line on 0300 123 8018."
