The Rose and Crown to reopen one year after going on sale

A Bristol pub which is loved by locals is set to reopen, one year after it was put up for sale. The Rose and Crown in Two Mile Hill, Kingswood has announced pints will be served again at the boozer very soon, after it went on the market for £325,000 in March 2021.

A post has been written on the pub's Facebook page which says: "A journey of a thousand steps start with a single one! Our brand new sign is up for all to see! Now back to finishing the rest of the pub!

"We will be opening our brand new doors at the beggining (sic) of May! Why not come and join us and have a nose at our brand new glorious main bar with open fire and snug lounge?

"Or take one of our local draught or cask ales out to our sheltered sunny garden and take in some rays and good vibes?! Keep an eye on our posts as we update over the coming weeks!"

The Facebook page also indicates that the opening date will be May 13, and says that the pub will offer a "wide selection of drinks and local beer", as well as new kitchens cooking up grub to go with your beverage. The bar has historically been well-used, and has previously attracted locals with a busy live events schedule, skittle alley and cheap pints.
