Willian has hailed Frank Lampard for the role in helping him find his confidence.
The Brazilian struggled to find his best form under Maurizio Sarri but has looked more like his former self since Frank Lampard took over as head coach at the start of the season.
The 31-year-old has been a key part of Lampard's plans, and with a contract that expires at the end of the season the winger says he's delighted to be enjoying his football once again.
Speaking to the club website about Lampard, Willian said: "He was an intelligent player, one of the best in his position.
"A quality player. When you see players like him you can say maybe in the future he can become a manager, and he's here with us!
"It's a bit weird he is my boss now, but I am very happy to work with him again. He has given me the confidence to play.
"He wants me to be happy. A part of the performances I have had in the past couple of games I have to dedicate to him.
"He always says to me 'I want you to be happy'. That's why I have been playing like I have been."
