It’s time once again for another round of free stuff courtesy of the Epic Games Store. I hope you went ahead and gave last week’s games a try! If not, your backlog will continue to pile up until it’s an eldritch monument to shame.
This week, Epic is giving away Aven Colony, a city-building simulator set in outer space. It’s free from now until Nov. 11 and is available for download here. Just don’t become a Weyland-Yutani executive while playing this, ok?
Next week, the Rogue Company Epic Pack is up for grabs. It’ll come with two new agent characters: Switchblade and Scorch. Rogue Company is a free-to-play third-person shooter that you can download here. The Epic Pack for the game will be free from Nov. 11 through Nov. 18, at which point the new content will unlock on your account.
Rogue Company came out last year and got pretty positive reviews. The game is sitting at a comfortable 75 on Metacritic and seems to have an active player base. It might be worth checking out if you’re into hero shooters!
