The Rockets’ official Twitter account has been suspended

Houston, we have a problem.

On Monday, many users on social media noticed that the official Twitter account for the Rockets was temporarily suspended.

The Rockets’ season has certainly come to a standstill following their elimination from the NBA playoffs, so news of the suspension has created an entertaining diversion for fans.

UPDATE at 5 p.m. ET: The Rockets account was formally suspended for copyright issues.

“Our Twitter account has been temporarily suspended due to a few prior social media posts with copyrighted music,” the Rockets said in a statement. “We are working to correct the issue now.”

While we wait for the account to return, the reactions online are certainly worth sharing fantastic.
