The road closures for Stereophonics at Singleton Park, Swansea

Stereophonics will be performing in Swansea next weekend in a huge show that will attract 35,000 people to Singleton Park.

The show, taking place on Saturday, July 13 , will celebrate 20 years since their 1999 career milestone show at the old Morfa Stadium, and the release of their album ‘Performance and Cocktails’.

Swansea Council has now announced a number of road closures, traffic diversions and parking restrictions which will be in place in the area for the gig.

De La Beche Road and Gower Road (between De La Beche Road and Eversley Road) will be a no parking area from 9am on Saturday, July 13 until 2am on Sunday, July 14.

For safety, security and to aid traffic movement in the area, some roads must be free of parked vehicles, say Swansea Council.

There will be parking restrictions and a vehicle tow-away operation taking place on the roads mentioned.

If you live in the area and are affected by these closures, you must move your vehicle to an alternative location before 9am on Saturday, July 13, the council say.

Gower Road (between De La Beche Road and Eversley Road) and Mumbles Road (between Sketty Lane and Gorse Lane) will be closed to traffic from approximately 10pm to 11.45pm on Saturday, July 13.
