The Ritz London is offering edible Fabergé Easter eggs

The Ritz London is offering an exclusive Easter experience with Fabergé - and they’ve managed to craft the most elegant eggs in the brand’s honor.

The three-course Fabergé Easter luncheon menu is entirely unique. Guests can’t find anything quite like it in London...or in the rest of the world, for that matter.

Executive Chef John Williams MBE has created an Eggs Fabergé dish that’s truly worthy of the iconic jewelry collection. His first course, an edible Fabergé egg, is inspired by one of the brand's most iconic pieces: the Mosaic Egg of 1914. The original piece was one of 50 completely unique eggs created for the Russian Imperial Royal Family and was the work of Fabergé’s first female designer Alma Pihl, which took a year to craft. The Mosaic Egg is currently part of the British Royal Collection.

Williams replicates the Mosaic Egg's delicate, gemstone colored design on an eggshell decorated with zucchinis, eggplants and carrots; delicately filling it with lobster mousse. And if that isn't decadent enough for you, the egg is also served atop a bed of caviar.

Diners can then enjoy lamb paired with fresh asparagus and tasty morels and fava beans for a springtime treat. For dessert, the roasted hazelnut mousse tastes like a grown-up Kinder Bueno bar - one that’s definitely not available in vending machines

At a recent press preview hosted by Sarah Fabergé, the great-great-grandaughter of the famous founder, elaborate Fabergé jewels set with dazzling diamonds were showcased. Hotel guests and diners can visit the Fabergé pop-up salon to see the collections themselves.

The Fabergé Easter luncheon menu is available for lunch for $388, starting on April 15 until April 22. Diners who book in for the menu are also entered to win a gold Fabergé egg pendant of their own.

Simply put on a pendant and dig into your own matching appetizer.
