When employees have access to mobile devices, they can work as and when they choose. Staff members can spend less time in the office during the day, fixed to their desktop PC, allowing them to get out and meet clients, visit different sites, and fit more into the working day. If needs be, they can always make calls, respond to emails or edit documents at home on evenings and weekends using a mobile device.
Research conducted by Good Technology suggests 93% of employees now work remotely at least some of the time. They simply need a web-enabled device, connectivity and sufficient battery life in order to be productive, wherever they happen to be based.
