The Ring actress dies aged 35 just days after her boyfriend’s emotional plea

  • Her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, told TMZ that Chase died Tuesday from meningitis and a severe blood infection, which led to septic issues and her body shutting down.
  • Days before her death , Hernandez had launched a GoFundMe campaign to solicit donations for her urgent medical treatment, stating her condition was critical.
  • Chase was notably acclaimed for her portrayal of the evil Samara Morgan in Gore Verbinski's The Ring , where she starred alongside Naomi Watts.
  • Her final on-screen credit was in the 2016 thriller American Romance, after which she stepped away from acting due to a series of personal and legal difficulties.
