The 'right way' to make a sandwich is blowing people's minds

The ‘right way’ to make a sandwich is blowing people’s minds.

We all know the struggle of making the perfect sandwich only to find the ingredients falling out of the bottom of the bread as you eat.

But now, there’s a way to make the perfect sandwich, thanks to a foodie who explained how they keep the contents of their sandwich from falling out, reports the Mirror.

Sharing the hack to Reddit’s Life Hacks forum, the unnamed user snapped a photo of their BLT sandwich, and made sure fans could see how they keep it together.

The hack? A simple piece of lettuce wrapped around one side of their sandwich to hold all the ingredients in.

You can see the contents of the sandwich, including the bacon, lettuce and tomato are all being held in place by one large leaf of iceberg lettuce.

The person instructed: “Wrap a piece of lettuce around one side of your sandwich/burger to keep the goods from falling out the other side.”

The hack would work for all kinds of sandwiches, as long as you have a leafy item to hold it altogether.

A number of other users have praised the hack, with one person saying: "This is exactly the kind of advice that I come to this sub for."

Another said: "NOW THAT'S SOME GOD DAMNED INNOVATION."

A third said: "Mind. Blown".
