The richest ever candidates from The Apprentice

We've followed 16 candidates battle it out to become Lord Sugar's business partner for the past several weeks.

It's now down to the final two remaining contestants to summon their old teammates back as they launch their business plan in an attempt to secure the £250,000 investment.

While Scarlett and Carina will only be allowed to ask for help from the series 15 candidates, there are a number of others from previous seasons that the pair could do with having on their side.

The richest ever The Apprentice candidates have been revealed after analysis of Companies House data by Teneric .

The business plan experts have revealed that although the aim of the show is to win, Susan Ma is the most successful to come out of the boardroom, despite placing third on the show in 2011.

These are the most successful ever candidates, ranked from first place to seventh, and how much their businesses are worth:

1. Susan Ma - £4.6million

Susan Ma, founder of Tropic Skincare, came third in the seventh series of the show but is now the most successful candidate of all time. Her business is worth a whopping £4.6million after securing investment from Lord Sugar when the show ended.

Sir Sugar revealed on You’re Hired shortly after the final that he would be investing in Susan.

2. Thomas Pellereau - £1.1million

Inventor Tom appeared on series seven of The Apprentice in 2011, making him the first partner to get investment from Lord Sugar. His business Styleideas LTD is now worth over £1.1million.

3. Ricky Martin - £1million

Winner of the 2012 series, owner of Hyper Recruitment Solutions, Ricky Martin, now lives a luxe lifestyle after coming from humble beginnings.

Since Lord Sugar chose him as the winner, he's scaled up the business, which is now worth an estimated £1million.

4. Leah Totton - £661k

Leah Totton worked in the accident an emergency department of a London hospital before winning The Apprentice in 2013. Her cosmetic surgery chain, Dr Leah, is now worth £661k.

5. Mark Wright - £442k

Founder of Climb Online, Mark Wright, secured a £250,000 investment with Lord Sugar back in 2014 and since then, his digital marketing agency has gone from strength to strength. Climb Online is now reportedly worth £442k.

6. Sarah Lynn - £264k

Sweets in the City founder, Sarah Lynn, is reinventing the confectionery scene. Due to her and Lord Sugar's partnership, the company now stocks sweets in Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges and is worth an estimated £264k.

7. James White - £168k

Right Time Recruitment owner, James White, was joint winner in series 13 alongside Sarah Lynn. Despite suffering financial setbacks in the first six months of his partnership with Lord Sugar, his business is now worth £168k.
