The reported reason why Undisputed won’t be on FS1 until late August

We’re still waiting to see who’s going to fill Shannon Sharpe’s chair on FS1’s Undisputed to face off daily with Skip Bayless.

If you’re a fan, you’re going to be waiting a while. Per a July 5 tweet from the show — see below — the debate series will be back on August 28. That’s A LOT of time to wait when it comes to daily shows, but FS1 might be banking on fans coming right back to see how Skip does with his new partner.

But why wait this long?

Per Front Office Sports: “The risky two-month layoff was driven by Bayless and FS1 management’s inability to find a replacement for Shannon Sharpe, said sources.”
