The reported price on Swansea City boss Graham Potter's head amid Celtic and West Brom links

Swansea City boss Graham Potter has a £2million price on his head, according to national media reports.

The 43-year-old has been linked with the Celtic hotseat in recent weeks, which is currently filled by Neil Lennon.

The Scottish giants have just sealed the title north of the border, strengthening Lennon's position to become the full-time successor to Brendan Rodgers.

But Potter has admirers in the Celtic boardroom, who like the way he has brought on youngsters in SA1.

West Brom are also on the lookout for a new boss, with Jimmy Shan currently in interim charge at The Hawthorns.

Potter himself was quizzed on the Celtic rumours a few weeks ago.

He said: “It’s just speculation in the media. I had a laugh with Oli McBurnie about it but it’s just speculation. I’ve had no contact with Celtic.

“I don’t really think about it to be honest. I’ve got a job to do here. You can’t stop the stories in the papers but I just do my best and help the players.”

The idea of working on a project - something Potter has frequently mentioned - certainly seems to appeal to Potter/

He added: “Well, it’s better than being sacked!

“I think that’s how you should be. I enjoyed my time in Sweden. It was stable and we made progress and I’m looking forward to doing the same here.

“I’m happy here and I’ll do my best as long as I’m here.”
