The summer transfer window remains open for less than a month, and rumours are beginning to heat up with deadline day fast approaching.
Chelsea have been one of the more active clubs thus far - signing no less than six first-team players.
Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, and Kai Havertz have all been added to Frank Lampard's squad in an attempt to bridge the gap to Liverpool and Manchester City, while Malang Sarr is one for the future.
Despite spending over £200m on four players, the Blues are still in the market for more additions.
A goalkeeper is thought to be a priority for Lampard following Kepa Arrizabalaga's inconsistent form last season and there have been links to the likes of Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak and Rennes' Edouard Mendy.
Furthermore, Declan Rice remains a target.
However, with West Ham United likely to demand at least £80m for the England international, it could be a case of selling players in order to raise enough funds.
According to the Daily Star, Jorginho, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Andreas Christensen and Danny Drinkwater could all make way for Rice.
But a surprise cash injection could arrive at Chelsea in the near future.
According to reports in France, Aston Villa have made on £19m offer for Lyon winger Bertrand Traore as Dean Smith bids to bolster his attacking options following the signing of Ollie Watkins.
This particular transfer would be fantastic news for the Blues as the Daily Mail have previously revealed they inserted a buy-back option in the deal which saw Traore join Lyon permanently in June 2017.
The report also states the Blues are due to receive 15 percent of any profit the French club makes on the fee should they sell him.
So if Villa do sign Bertrand, Chelsea would get a surprise windfall of just under £3m.
