The remarkable Andy Robertson statistic highlighting his success at Liverpool

Andy Robertson has only ever lost one game at Anfield and that was while he was playing for Hull City.

That statistic in itself is incredible and it highlights just how successful the Liverpool left-back has been since arriving in the summer of 2017 for £8.1million.

After a difficult start when he found himself behind Alberto Moreno in the pecking order, Robertson flourished under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and firmly established himself as the Reds' first choice left-back.

Defensively he is rock solid, a serious threat going forward and was a key part of the Champions League winning squad last season while he also helped his side to maintain a serious pursuit of the Premier League crown - which they look set to do once again this term.

Blood Red: Why Arsenal’s tactics could be sign of things to come for Liverpool

Robertson has played 41 times at Anfield for Liverpool over his career so far and in none of those matches have Klopp's men been subjected to a loss.

In the 2017/18 season the Scotland captain featured in 13 Premier League matches, two Champions League games and one FA Cup contests at the Reds' home ground.

In the 2018/19 campaign he played in 18 Premier League and five Champions League matches at Anfield while this season he has played in both the matches at the hallowed ground so far.

The only time he has lost was in September 2016 when Liverpool beat Hull 5-1 in the Premier League and the defender lined up for the Tigers.
