William has been on remand for two years in Lusaka Central Prison in Zambia after being charged with car theft and murder. He has not heard from his wife for six months and is concerned about his daughter’s safety. Unbeknownst to him, his wife secretly remarried, hoping that it would afford their child greater security. But William is convinced that their love has a future. In a groundbreaking project, prison psychologist Hastings Siamoongwa tries to help William heal his relationships. Their journey reveals the immense psychological toll of being imprisoned, for years, without being convicted.
