A new bar and restaurant called The Refinery will be opening for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks in West Bridgford later this month.
The company behind the Copper Cafe brand are launching the new venue in the former home of Signature Steakhouse in Melton Road, which has stood empty since the property was repossessed last September.
Work is currently under way to transform the premises, ready for a planned opening around the bank holiday weekend.
A menu, crafted from fresh ingredients from local suppliers, will feature brunch, stone-baked pizzas, salads, sandwiches, burgers and grill mains. A children's menu will also be avaialble.
Visitors will be able to quench their thirst with coffee, wine, cask and keg beer from Navigation Brewery, and cocktails.
General manager Tristan Hanmer, who has worked for Copper for ten years, said: "Through the extensive refurbishment, we are creating a sophisticated, modern interior which looks and feels luxurious yet warm and welcoming, all of which reflect our brand values.
"Think plush textiles, bold prints and lots of lavish detailing which will make The Refinery the perfect place for lazy weekend brunches, daytime coffees right into evening meals and bespoke cocktails.”
The Refinery will be open seven days a week.
