The Redskins secondary continues to impress at minicamp

The Washington Redskins’ secondary is giving rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins a rude welcoming to the NFL.

For the third straight day, Haskins has been picked off in minicamp multiple times, several of which reportedly would have gone for six the other way had the play not been blown dead. You could chalk these up as rookie mistakes and an expected growth period, but beat reporters in attendance seem to be cawing the same sentiment: the Washington defense is showing out.

Obviously, it is not great to see Haskins making mistakes on offense, but there has got to be some encouragement for the defense, which continues to make big plays. Should they be able to keep up that level of intensity, the secondary will have their rookie QB ready for whatever he sees come the regular season.
