Hit band The Receipts are holding a special Christmas night out in the Dublin mountains.
Join the Ballinteer group at The Receipts Christmas Party as they’ll make a night to remember.
The special party is happening on December 19 at the Blue Light Pub in Sandyford.
The Receipts will be playing everything from their original music as well as covers that include The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Formed in 1990, the band enjoyed much popularity alongside bands like LiR and The Coletranes as they toured across Ireland.
Guitarist Ronan Clinton said: “Life just got in the way and we ended up taking a multiple year “hiatus” to work on and through our own stuff.”
But the band reunited in 2016 after an offhand text message from one of the band members to the rest.
Ronan added: “The songs just kept calling us back, we knew that we had something special and that we never got to put it on tape, that always stuck with us - I guess the road not travelled and all that…”
