Chelsea are without two key players against Brighton and Hove Albion this afternoon.
Frank Lampard has made eight changes from the team which started the 7-1 thrashing of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Kepa, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Willian, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham are among those who have come back into the team having been rested against the lower league opposition.
Many fans would have expected a recall for N'Golo Kante.
However, that's not the case.
The midfielder, who has struggled with injury this season has not been risked against the Seagulls.
And he's not the only notable absentee.
Kurt Zouma - a scorer in midweek against Grimsby - also doesn't make the matchday squad.
After announcing the team news, the Chelsea official Twitter account revealed that Kante and Zouma miss out at Stamford Bridge due to a hamstring issue and illness respectively.
Kante's absence has rewarded Ross Barkley with another chance to impress in central midfield alongside Jorginho.
Meanwhile, Lampard has opted to keep faith in a flat back four in Zouma's absence and that means the Blues head coach's centre-back pairing is Fikayo Tomori and Andreas Christensen.
Chelsea have an excellent record against the Seagulls since they were promoted to the Premier League and a fifth straight win against today's opposition would be welcome for Lampard.
