The reason Mikel Arteta was furious with Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool vs Arsenal

Mikel Arteta was not happy with Jurgen Klopp during tonight's Carabao Cup clash between Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Gunners are taking on the Premier League champions for the second time this week after losing in the league against the Reds on Monday night.

This evening, they are battling Liverpool for a spot in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals and during the game, there was a flashpoint on the touchline.

Arsenal boss Arteta appeared to be furious with his Liverpool counterpart Klopp.

And that was because of an incident Arteta wasn't the least bit pleased with.

During the first half, Reds midfielder Diogo Jota appeared to shove Dani Ceballos off the ball.

And while Klopp put his hands up in apology, unhappy with Jota's actions, Arteta was still furious over the incident, making his feelings known to the Liverpool boss.

Things appear to have calmed down on the touchline now with the two teams still drawing 0-0 at time of writing.
