The reason Everton striker Cenk Tosun was pictured wearing another club's shirt

Everton striker Cenk Tosun has shared a picture on social media wearing a replica shirt of Turkish club Denizlispor.

Following the side's promotion to Turkey's top flight at the weekend, the 27-year-old posted a picture donning the black and green jersey.

Tosun shared the photo to Instagram while holidaying with his wife and son.

An accompanying caption read: "Champions Denizlispor, welcome to the super league roosters."

The Turkish outfit replied to Tosun's message of support with a smiling face emoji.
