The reason Celtic won't have Parkhead party if they seal treble Treble

Celtic won't be able to enjoy a Parkhead party for the ages if they seal the treble Treble against Hearts next month.

Neil Lennon's side also have the Premiership to secure but heading back to their stadium on May 25 isn't an option due to Celtic Park hosting the Guinness Pro14 final.

The Scottish Cup Final will finish just before 5.00pm, if there's no extra time or penalties, but Parkhead will be in use as rugby supporters make their way towards the stadium ahead of the 6.30pm kick-off.

Celtic supporters lined the streets last year to salute Brendan Rodgers and their double Treble heroes as they headed home on an open top bus.

That won't be possible this time around but the Premiership champions could look at alternative dates for a celebration to remember.

Celtic fans are looking to make the most of unprecedented success and know sealing the remarkable trophy haul may never be replicated.

Lennon's side secured their place in the Hampden showpiece with a dominant 3-0 win over Aberdeen on Sunday.

Goals from James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic sealed an 11th straight win at the national stadium.
