The reason Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United players are together during the winter break

It's the first ever Premier League winter break for some clubs.

Whilst Manchester City, West Ham United, Everton, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Bournemouth are all in action this weekend, players of the other 14 clubs are enjoying a well earned rest.

Some teams are heading abroad for warm-weather training, while Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton meet in an FA Cup fourth round replay on Wednesday night before their break kicks in.

Premier League top scorer: Who leads the race for the golden boot?

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all safely came through their cup ties so will get the full winter break experience.

However, they can't escape each other.

A number of players from each squad have jetted out to Dubai and attended the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex which is a world-class facility which many world class footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Virgil van Dijk and Dele Alli have used in the past.

A post via Nas_Sc's official Instagram reads: "Jammed packed morning this morning.

"We welcomed players from @arsenal, @chelseafc and @manchesterunited."

There were also images of Kieran Tierney, Sead Kolasinac, Reiss Nelson, Pablo Mari, Ross Barkley, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot either running or doing some work with the ball.

Facilities on offer at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex includes an health club and spa which has full medical facilities with on-site physios and masseuses, as reported by the Sun.

In addition, there's two Fifa-standard football pitches and the complex is quickly becoming the go-to venues for clubs across Europe.

All three aforementioned teams return to action within the next 12 days.

The Gunners host Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on February 16 as they look to end a run of four consecutive draws in the Premier League and get their top-four push back on track.

Then the next day sees the third meeting between Chelsea and Manchester United this season as the Blues look to avenge a 4-0 and 2-1 loss at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge respectively.
