The Real Housewives Of Sydney Is Copping An Osher Günsberg-Hosted Reunion Next Week

Chuck on some pearls and get ready to clutch ’em because the lovely ladies of The Real Housewives of Sydney are reuniting for a reunion. And, judging by the drama on and off the screen, we’re in for a doozy.

The reunion episode will feature all eight glorious housewives — Caroline Gaultier, Dr Kate Adams, Krissy Marsh, Nicole O’Neil, Sally Obermeder, Terry Biviano, Martine Chippendale and Victoria Montano — as they return to their happy place… in front of a camera.

If that news wasn’t already exciting enough, the special will be hosted by the one and only Osher Günsberg, who promises to don his finest blazer and get to the bottom of the drama.

While you might know Osher for his (sexy whispering) work on The Bachelor, the 51-year-old has basically done every job under the sun when it comes to Australian television (one time he taught me how to find my light in a studio after his years as a light tech).

And, thanks to his beautiful wife Audrey, Osher admits he is no stranger to the housewives or the Bravo universe.

“My wife Audrey is a highly sought-after professional makeup artist and works with one of the ladies regularly, so I’m well-versed in the lore of this world,” Osher tells PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“Being asked to moderate a Real Housewives reunion is like getting a call from Ivan Cleary the week of the NRL Grand Final telling me I’ll be playing halfback,” Osher continued.

Realistically, though, with so much drama happening on and off screen, it’s important that the host of the reunion knows what they’re doing. I think they’re in pretty good hands with Osh-dog.

“There’s a particular set of skills required to make sure a show like this delivers — not just for the fans, but also for the cast,” he says.

“I work hard to make it look like I’m just standing there and speaking off the cuff. What you don’t see are the hundreds of hours of prep that go into making sure we cover every angle, tie a bow on every open story, and put to bed whatever rumours have had a little too much to drink.”

The reunion comes after plenty of rumours that drama was brewing between the castmates.

Before the season even kicked off, there were whispers that the ladies had gotten into a scrap. According to The Sunday Telegraph, an “altercation” led to production being halted.

However, newcomer Martine straight up denied these claims.

“Firstly, don’t believe everything that you read. And secondly, there’s spice, there’s drama. I don’t think that [the reports] can be confirmed, but I think that while that may not be true, I just think it’s a lead-up to an exciting season.”

Although Martine denied this, other insiders claimed that the reunion episode would showcase the feud allegedly dividing the cast.

According to The Daily Telegraph’s Saturday Confidential, a massive beef has seen the cast take sides. On one side of the ring, we have Terry, Sally, Kate, Martine and Nicole. On the other side of the ring, there’s Krissy, Caroline and Victoria.

Will we see this drama come to light? We will have to wait and see.

The Real Housewives of Sydney reunion premieres on BINGE on Tuesday, May 6.
