'The real GOAT' - Spurs fans send warning to Lionel Messi & Barcelona after Liverpool masterclass

Barcelona look on course for the Champions League final after their 3-0 triumph over Liverpool in the semi-final first leg on Wednesday evening.

Leading 1-0 thanks to Luis Suarez's goal against his former club, Lionel Messi then struck a double after the break to leave the Reds with a mountain to climb.

Scoring with a simple finish after Suarez had hit the crossbar from close range, the Argentine scored an outrageous free-kick from 30-yards to give Alisson absolutely no chance.

The tie is certainly not over yet going on Liverpool's impressive home form, but Jurgen Klopp's team are going to need a miracle to make the final for the second successive year.

Spurs will be also be hoping to be in the showpiece finale in Madrid at the start of June after slipping to a 1-0 defeat against Ajax on Tuesday.

Falling behind to Donny van de Beek's early goal, the Dutch side did have chances to double the lead throughout the match with David Neres hitting the post as the game wore on.

The game did change following Moussa Sissoko's introduction in the 40th minute and the Frenchman will be a key player in the second leg in Amsterdam next week.
