Rangers have the oldest squad in the Scottish Premiership, with their average age coming in at nearly two years older than Celtic 's.
Manager Steven Gerrard has looked to experience as he bids to stop Celtic winning nine-in-a-row, with Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe arriving in January.
While the promising youngsters such as Jake Hastie and Joe Aribo arrived in the summer, the Rangers first XI is very much made up of players who have been there and done it - as demonstrated by the fact they've got the oldest squad in the top flight this season.
So far this term their average age on the pitch in league matches is 28, higher than any other club in the division.
Along with Davis and Defoe, goalkeeper Allan McGregor is a stalwart in the side at 37, and 30-year-old Scott Arfield has featured in all but one Premiership match this season.
Across the city Neil Lennon can call on a younger squad, with an average age of 26.4 so far in 2019-20.
Perhaps unsurprisingly the best place to see young talents is Lanarkshire, with both Motherwell and Hamilton famed for their youth acadamies.
Both have an average age of 25.2 so far this season, the lowest in the division.
Ross County have the next oldest squad after Rangers at 27.8, followed by St Mirren and Kilmarnock.
