The Range is opening a new store near Liverpool

The Range already has stores on Edge Lane in Liverpool and at Aintree shopping park, and now a third store is opening not far from Liverpool.

The retailer is launching a new store in Widnes next month.

The Range will be on the site of the old B&Q store at Widnes Waterfront and will open in line with the current Government guidelines. It is set to welcome customers through the doors from Friday, February 26.

The Range store in Runcorn Shopping Centre will close the day before, and staff will be transferred to the the new Widnes location.

When the Windes store opens, additional full time and part time jobs will be created.

The Range stores remain open during lockdown as it is classed as an essential retailer, due to the sale of certain items including food and medicine.

The store will sell everyday essentials, including cleaning supplies, pet care products, homeware and more.

Additional safety measures will be in place to help shoppers and staff stay safe during the coronavirus lockdown. These will include social distancing floor markers, sanitising stations at the store entrance and customers will be encouraged to use contactless payments when possible.

The store will be at Widnes Waterfront, Widnes Trade Park, Dennis Road, Widnes WA8 0GU.
