The Raiders release TE Lee Smith after 4 seasons

The Raiders have decided to part ways with tight end Lee Smith after four seasons with the organization. With a tightknit tight end room, one player was the odd man out and it ended up to be Smith.

What does this mean for the team going forward? Well, it means a bigger role for Darren Waller who the Raiders expect to be their flex tight end. It also means that the Raiders are very high on Foster Moreau, the fourth round pick out of LSU. Expect for him to have a huge role in the offense and replace Smith as a key blocker on running downs.
