TCU defensive tackle Ross Blacklock received 37 parking tickets during his time at TCU.
Seriously.
Blacklock revealed the news during the NFL combine this week in Indianapolis, saying the Las Vegas Raiders informed him of the parking violations.
"The Raiders told me about my 37 parking tickets that I didn't know about," Blacklock told reporters today at the combine.
How didn't Blacklock know the exact number? Well, TCU pays for the tickets out of the cost of attendance stipend student athletes receive.
"They take them out of our checks," he said. "They pay for it at TCU. I guess it's a good thing because I don't got no bad record. Clean dude."
What Blacklock does have is a high-ceiling as an NFL prospect. He's viewed as a possible first-round talent.
At 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, Blacklock is a disruptive force on the interior of the defensive line. He started all 12 games for the Horned Frogs in 2019, finishing with 40 tackles, including nine for loss and a team-leading 3 { sacks. He also had three QB hurries.
The NFL draft is set for April 23-25 in Las Vegas.
