The quizzes, entertainment shows and music events to enjoy from your sofa while raising money for good causes

At the moment charities are having a very uncertain time. Fundraisers cancelled, charity shops closed, care provided by staff at places like Ty Hafan Children's Hospice are restricted and volunteers down due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

But as with many things we've discovered throughout this coronavirus lockdown we can do so much from the safety of our own homes.

Thanks to the modern technology that's keeping many of us connected you can now support charities by taking part in quizzes online, watching music performances and entertainment.

Here are some upcoming events. Enjoy!

The 2.6 Challenge

On the Sunday when the 2020 London Marathon was meant to be run, the event is encouraging participants and others to do an activity based around the numbers two and six - 26 miles is the length of the marathon - and it can be something 26 miles long, 2.6 miles long, 2.6minutes - anything!

The challenge will raise money for all the charities around the UK that are struggling at the moment - as there are many nominated charities supported by the famous annual event.

So choose a charity, choose an activity and get going!
