Creating a new fun way of exploring the islands of Mull and Iona for families, a local tourism board has just launched The Quest, an exciting interactive tour.
The trail features 25 locations throughout the islands, each of which has a clue leading to something of interest to discover.
Children are invited to find clues that will answer questions such as “Who was the Terror of Tobermory?” to “How many fairies are hidden inside the fairy door on the Calgary in Nature walk?”
The Quest Map introduces families to many fascinating parts of the islands while engaging children in some interesting fun facts.
The map can be downloaded from the website mullandionaquest.co.uk or purchased at outlets on Mull for £5 per family. Kids can then receive an award by returning their answers to the iCentre in Craignure.
Helen MacDonald, Communications Officer for Visit Mull and Iona said, “The Quest is a fun way for families to take part in an outdoor adventure.
"Not all of our indoor attractions are open yet, and we are aware that families are attracted to the safety of open air as tourism re-opens on our islands.
"The Quest is the perfect way to entertain the children, whatever the weather”
