The Queen wanted to take up gymnastics, she let slip to Olympic hero Tom Daley.
HRH revealed her secret passion when she met him, aged 92, in 2018.
He said: “She commented on her height compared to some of the other athletes in the room and, because me and the other athletes were quite small, she said, ‘Maybe I should try gymnastics.’
“She was fully game to get involved in the sport.”
The Queen regularly attends sporting events and is a horse racing enthusiast.
But she has never spoken of wanting to take up gymnastics.
In 2017 Great Britain’s double Olympic champion Max Whitlock revealed that she is a gymnastics fan.
During his investiture ceremony she told him that she loved watching the gymnastics because the stuff they do doesn’t seem possible.
He added: “It was pretty cool to hear the Queen say she likes the sport.”
The monarch’s biggest passion is horse racing and it has been said she’s a fan of Arsenal FC. But she’s said not to enjoy tennis and has only been to Wimbledon four times.
Meanwhile, when Daley, 27, met the Queen in 2018 he said he felt “panicky” because he didn’t know royal protocol. He made the admission on Swedish chat show Skavlan.
Daley also revealed how he wants to dive on Mars because its gravity would help him somersault more.
