The QPR favourite who is tipped to replace Brighton-bound Graham Potter at Swansea

Queens Park Rangers coach John Eustace is reported to be among the contenders to replace Graham Potter at Swansea City.

The manager of the Swans is expected to complete a move to Premier League side Brighton in the next 48 hours, meaning that the Welsh are likely to be in the market for a replacement, and according to reports in the Mirror , the former Watford and Derby man is among the contenders for the role at the Liberty Stadiium.

Eustace made quite an impression as caretaker manager at Loftus Road, after Steve McClaren was sacked last term.

Some quarters called for him to get the job full-time before the club moved to appoint Mark Warburton as the new manager.

Warburton has since named Eustace as his assistant manager, but it's possible that the former midfielder has got a taste of life as a manager.

A move for Eustace would be a side that the managerial merry-go-round is beginning to turn.

Several clubs in the Premier League and second tier have disposed of their managers as attention now turns to next season, and it seems that this could have a knock on effect across the clubs.

Top flight side Brighton were one of the first to make a change, sacking Chris Hughton after the final game of the season.

The south coast side narrowly avoided relegation and are keen to play a more expansive style of play to try and move themselves away from a relegation scrap next term.

The man who looks set to take on that challenge is Swansea City manager Graham Potter.

It's been quite a season for the ex Ostersunds boss who has instilled a real attacking flair in the Welsh side as he produced a very entertaining side with the young talent at their disposal.

Sky Sports have reported that a deal for Potter to move to the south coast could materialise in the next 48 hours, meaning that the Championship side will be on the look out for a replacement.

While Eustace is reported to be one target for the role, it remains to be seen whether he would be a frontrunner.
