The Pursuit of Love: when’s it on TV and who's in it?

If you’re wondering how you’re going to fill your Sunday nights now Line of Duty is over, then wonder no more, because new period drama The Pursuit of Love is here to take its place.

The highly anticipated drama series is based on Nancy Mitford’s 1945 novel of the same name, and was filmed in Bristol, Bath and across Somerset.

The series is set in Europe between two World Wars, and follows the adventures and misadventures of Linda Radlett (Lily James) and her best friend and cousin Fanny Logan (Emily Beecham).

And they’re not the only big names you’ll have heard of.

The Affair's Dominic West stars as Uncle Matthew, Linda's father, while Dracula's Dolly Wells plays Linda's mother, Aunt Sadie.

Fleabag's Andrew Scott stars as Linda's eccentric neighbour, Lord Merlin.
