The pubs reopening in Oldham when lockdown restrictions ease on Monday

Punters will finally be able to head down to their local for the first pub pint of the year, when bars and restaurants will be allowed to operate in outdoor settings from Monday (April 12).

A number of strict lockdown rules will be lifting, including the opening of non-essential retail, as well as hairdressers, beauty salons and other close-contact services.

Restaurants and pubs will be allowed to serve food and alcohol to customers sitting outdoors; gyms and spas can reopen, as can zoos, theme parks, libraries and community centres.

Members of the same household can also take a holiday in England in self-contained accommodation

Restrictions around the numbers of people gathering together remain - and indoor settings should be visited alone, or with household groups.

But outside, six people or two households can meet.

In celebration of these restrictions lifting, we're gathering together a list of pubs and restaurants reopening across Oldham.
