These are the pubs and clubs which have been given the lowest hygiene ratings in the city.
The Food Standards Agency classes businesses with a two-star rating as 'improvements necessary', one-star rating as 'major improvements necessary'. those with zero as 'urgent improvement necessary'.
Inspectors consider how hygienically food is handled, how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored.

They examine the building itself, judging its cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation and facilities.
Also key is how the business manages and records what it does to ensure food is safe.

The manager of The Lamplighters said they have made a number of improvements since being taken over by St Austell Brewery in January.
"It's because of the transition - equipment needed replacing and we had new chefs," she said.
"We're just waiting for them to come back and reassess us now."

Landlord Giorgio Di Mia said: "Improvements are taking place. We took over the pub and it was very run down, which was why we got the bad rating.
"Everything is getting renovated, it is only a matter of time before it's finished. It doesn't represent the hygiene of the pub now."
