Jose Mourinho will be in the Spurs dugout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the very first time this evening as they take on Olympiacos in the Champions League.
Appointed as head coach last Wednesday morning following the club's decision to part with Mauricio Pochettino the previous night, the 56-year-old guided the club to three points in his first game in charge on Saturday at West Ham.
He will be looking to make it two wins from two tonight and three points will guarantee the team's passage through to the knockout stage of Europe's elite competition with one game to spare.
Ahead of his first game in N17, Mourinho has made a promise to the club's fans and he also outlined the role they can play in helping the team.
"I have said this already in the past week and I think it is something our fans know again that wherever I have worked the one thing I can always promise is passion," he said in his matchday programme notes.
"Passion for my job and our club, and I know the players feel the same.
"We will give everything so that we can bring happiness to everyone who loves Tottenham Hotspur.
"Our fans have the potential to transmit incredible energy from the stands and it is something I have always observed.
"Everybody has made me and my staff feel so welcome since we arrived almost a week ago. We could not be happier with how everything has gone so far and now we are looking forward to sharing our first home game with you all tonight."
