The programme palaver that will amuse Notts County and Barrow fans

Barrow have announced they will reprint copies of their Notts County matchday programme after a copy was being sold on eBay for £50.

The clash against the Magpies was the Bluebirds' last in the National League before their campaign was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the time Barrow were top of the league and they have since been crowned champions which rubber-stamped their return to the Football League.

A copy of the programme from that game  is now being sold for £50 on eBay and the club has since Tweeted to say they have now ordered a reprint.

The club said: "We’ve been made aware that copies of our Notts County and  Wrexham programmes are being sold on eBay for up to £50.

"So, we’ve ordered a reprint and they’re now available for £5 including postage."

Barrow fans will not have too many happy memories of what happened in the game, however, as the Magpies ran out 2-0 winners.

Scott Quigley was sent off as goals from Tom Crawford and Callum Roberts sealed the points for Neal Ardley's men.

At the time the league was halted, Notts were seven points behind the Bluebirds with eight games to play.

The Magpies will now play in the playoffs later this month.
