The Prodigy have shared a tribute to Keith Flint on what would have been his 50th birthday.
The rave pioneer was found dead at his Essex home on March 4. An inquest later reached an open verdict, concluding that there was not sufficient evidence that he intended to kill himself.
Bandmates Liam Howlett and Maxim marked the date with an Instagram post featuring a series of images of the frontman, including photos of him performing and more intimate backstage shots.
“Happy birthday Flinty, not a single day passes u aren’t in our thoughts [sic], we miss you brother,” they wrote.
“Raise the roof wherever u are m*********! L & M …. X”
They signed off with the hashtags “#weliveforever,” “#weliveforthebeats,” “#raisetheroof” and “#neverstop.”
Following Flint’s death, the group marked the passing of their “brother” and “best friend” with a statement on social media.
They hailed him as “a true pioneer, innovator and legend” who “will be forever missed” and confirmed that all planned tour dates would be cancelled “with immediate effect.”
The band recently confirmed that they had returned to the recording studio for the first time since their frontman’s death in an Instagram post shared last month.
Sharing a photo of Howlett at a mixing desk, they told fans they were “back in the studio making noise” and promised that “brand new Prodigy tunes are gonna roll, boooom.”
