Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas was in tears after his fiancee revealed the sex of their unborn baby.
The delighted dad-to-be burst out laughing and crying with delight at the same time after Lucy Mecklenburgh told him they were having a boy.
The pregnant former The Only Way Is Essex star shared the moment on her Instagram.
"I'm crying," he told her, wiping away tears.
"Yes!" he cheered.
"His reaction! he couldn’t hold it in any longer!! It’s mad I always new the gender as soon as I found out I was pregnant," Lucy wrote alongside the video.
Ryan shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the smitten couple on holiday.
In the picture Lucy was wearing a blue swimsuit.
"Blue is for.....?" Ryan said alongside the snap.
Congratulations have poured in for the couple.
Ryan's former co-star Michelle Keegan messaged: "Awwwww amazing!! CONGRATULATIONS."
Samia Longchambon, who plays Corrie 's Maria Connor, wrote: "Aww a little boy! Congrats guys."
Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie Webster, said: "So happy for you both x lovely news darling x"
And The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward said: "Oh wow amazing wishing every happiness."
Ryan, 35, who played builder Jason Grimshaw on the soap from 2000 to 2016, met Lucy, 28, when they both appeared on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017 and the couple are expecting their first child together.
The pair got engaged this summer during a picture perfect trip to the Italian cliffside village of Positano on the Amalfi Coast.
Ryan has a 10-year-old daughter Scarlett with his former Coronation Street castmate Tina O'Brien, 36, who plays Sarah Platt in Corrie.
