The price that Arsenal should demand from AC Milan for Lucas Torreira

Lucas Torreira is a man very much in demand.

The Arsenal midfielder enjoyed an excellent debut season after arriving from Italian side Sampdoria last summer, leading to reports of interest from the continent.

AC Milan are said to be very keen on the 22-year-old with Marco Giampaolo, Torreira's former boss at Sampdoria, keen to bring him to the San Siro.

But the Uruguay international certainly won't come cheap.

According to CIES Football Observatory , Lucas Torreira is valued at €76million meaning that the Italian giants will certainly have to fork out to get their man.

Comments from Torreira's agent, Pablo Bentancur, will certainly stir the pot as he stated it would be 'special' if Giampoalo contacted Torreira regarding a move- although he also stated that he was not aware of Milan's interest.

"I know nothing of AC Milan's interest. I only heard about it in the press. No one contacted me," he told CalcioMercato.

"Would Giampaolo's call be something special for Lucas? Yes, clearly."
