Leeds United have suffered a blow in their pursuit of defender Ben White.
The 22-year-old centre-back starred on loan at the Whites last season and now his future at parent club Brighton is up in the air.
There have been numerous reports on White's future but one of the constants has been Leeds' interest.
We have heard that White has been considering his situation after Brighton hinted at a willingness to listen to offers.
Leeds have reportedly made an offer of £35 million but Brighton are set to reject it as the Seagulls aim to land £50 million for the defender.
If that wasn't enough to make Leeds' fans think they are not going to get White permanently, the latest update has increased the number of clubs vying for the young gun's services.
The Sun report that all of the Premier League's top six have shown their interest in the former Leeds loan star.
That list of teams includes champions Liverpool plus Man City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Leicester City and Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Leeds are already preparing for the potential of not acquiring White permanently this summer.
Freiburg centre-back Robin Koch has been eyed as a potential alternative at the cheaper price of £30 million.
