The Premier League club who consider Nottingham Forest to be their biggest rivals

It is well known that Nottingham Forest’s arch rivals are at the other end of the A52 – Derby County.

The two clubs are steeped in history, with former manager Brian Clough the key to both club’s success down the years.

But one club who can be credited with a rivalry with both clubs is fellow East Midlands outfit Leicester City.

The Foxes may be battling at the top end of the Premier League, but there remains a rivalry between them and Forest, from those of a Leicester persuasion, at least.

It has been revealed what team fans of each Premier League considers to be their side’s biggest rivals.

Forest are the club that received the most votes (72%) from Leicester fans as their biggest rivals, despite the two clubs not playing in the same division.

Second is Derby, followed by Coventry City, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

The last meeting between Forest and Leicester came in a Championship clash in February 2014, when the two sides were held to a 2-2 draw at the City Ground.

Goals from Jamie Paterson and Andy Reid were cancelled out by strikes from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.
