The Predator is back at it (the preying) again.
And, as Sterling K. Brown's Will Traeger warns: "Predators don't just sit around making hats out of rib cages. They conquered space."
Shane Black's The Predator is bringing the extraterrestrial hunter back, now more insatiable than ever. As the synopsis reads: "From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series."
“Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”
Directed by Black – who had a supporting role in the original 1987 Predator - the movie will acknowledge the events of the first two Predator films, while acting as an almost complete reboot otherwise.
The star-studded cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay and Alfie Allen.
The Predator reaches cinemas 14 September.
