The Power of Poppy Pendle by Natasha Lowe - review

The Power of Poppy Pendle

Poppy Pendle is a fun witch, although she doesn't want to be. A witch that is! She absolutely adores baking, for she was born in a bakery. Her Mum does not like all of this baking however, because she is so proud that Poppy has inherited the family gift - Poppy's the first to be a witch in generations. Poppy's Mum gets her into a school for witches and wants her to concentrate on her studies. But no one can stop Poppy baking even when they take her oven away!

I think this is a thrilling and funny book. It makes you want to read on and on. I felt tingly with excitement when I read it, wanting to know what would happen next. If I had to give it star rates out of five, obviously, I'd give this five.
