A popular community cafe in the heart of Skewen is closing its doors following concerns over "the future of hospitality".
In an announcement on social media, Rarebit Cafe said that after three years of service, it would not be re-opening at all in 2022.
The decision was shared earlier this week in which the team thanked the community for all the support in its history and wished them well in the new year.

now a community cafe in Skewen has made a difficult decision to "seek other opportunities".
In its heartfelt post shared on Facebook, the Rarebit Cafe declared it would not re-open in 2022, saying: "After 3 wonderful (and wild) years with you we feel that we've given our all but between concerns over the future of hospitality and the many problems we face in trying to maintain an old building, we feel that it's the best decision for us to close.
"This was not an easy decision to make; the welcome we've had from this community has been second to none and we will miss every one of you. Though this is a sad and hard thing to do, we hope you understand"
The post went on to thank the community for their support through the years and thanked them for helping integrate the cafe into the area, later thanking and wishing well the customers for the new year.
The announcement was met by more than a hundred comments all unanimously "devastated" by the "sad news" with some even describing it as the best Sunday dinners they had ever had.
Jenny Davison Burrows commented: "Oh what a pity! Wishing you all the very best in any future business venture. You’ll do well, I’ve no doubt."
Amy Bowditch said: "This is truly a massive loss to the community of Skewen. Such a welcoming place with gorgeous food! Thank you for the efforts you go to with everyone. You will be missed! Good luck with everything for the future."
