The Pokémon Legends Z-A credits leak isn’t real… right?

With every new Pokémon game, there are a handful of new leaks that appear with the community, and especially content creators, trying to grab onto any sliver of information in hopes of pulling your attention. It gets pretty overwhelming at times, and most leaks aren't worth the time of day.

Pokémon Legends Z-A hasn't escaped this pool of false leaks and narrative bait, but one leak in particular over this weekend has left a lot of players scratching their heads. And it's the 4vhan credits leak, which appears to show a few seconds of credits as well as some information from the game from a supposed game tester who finished it.

Now, like with all leaks, I have to preface that the information should be taken with a pinch of salt. No leak, or any rumor, is confirmed real until Nintendo or The Pokémon Company confirms, and while this one seems pretty realistic with the video, my mind is going towards the realms of it being false and a pretty well-made leak. I also won't be linking to the source of it for obvious reasons.

On top of this, we got supposed leaks of new Mega Pokémon and some supposed information about the game, as well as a supposed new Porygon form, which likens it to a Blood Moon Ursaluna encounter over being its own thing. It all sounds pretty cool on paper, but again, it's hard to take the information as anything but real.

The only reason I'm even writing this article is because I saw it becoming so widespread, so many content creators jumping on it and calling ti 'pretty legit' among other things, that I felt inclined to talk about it and bring notice to it to remind everyone that we have been fooled before by pretty solid supposed leaks in the past that wheren't true. Does anyone remember the old Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mural leak that showed the supposed final roster that turned out to be fake, that everyone was 100% convinced was real?

Don't believe everything you read on the internet, gang. And besides, if there was a sliver of hope this was real, the best time to find out will be on July 22, when Pokémon Presents is likely to show off new information about Z-A and other Pokémon fans, ahead of the game's release on the Switch and the Switch 2 on Oct. 16.
