Tottenham Hotspur have been England's most profitable club since 2014/15 according to new figures released.
Analysis from football business experts Vysyble has shown that Spurs' £150.41million economic profit is the best five-year performance in English football.
Spurs' profit beats Liverpool into first place by under £5million.
Both Spurs' and Liverpool's accounts have been boosted by the fact they faced each other in last year's Champions League final.
However, for Spurs to come out on top over Liverpool is an impressive achievement, considering last season was the Anfield club's second Champions League final in a row.
On their website, Vysyble sum up economic profit as "a measure of performance that draws on information from the income and balance sheet statements and compares net operating profit after tax to the cost of all the capital invested in the business or organisation."
Economic profit is usually worked out as a formula, which takes net operating profits after tax and subtracts capital invested multiplied by the weighted average cost of capital.
Spurs' good performance is also likely down to low squad wages and transfer spend alongside transfer income from the likes of Kyle Walker, Kieran Tripper and Nabil Bentaleb in the last five years.
For Tottenham fans, last season's Champions League trophy would have been the better moment to out-do the Reds, but they will have to make do with this accolade instead.
