The players with long-term futures at Tottenham as Jose Mourinho's summer rebuild commences

There will be incomings and outgoings at Tottenham ahead of Jose Mourinho's first full season at the helm.

Managing to guide his side to Europa League qualification despite a nightmare campaign, the experienced boss will be looking to hit the next level in 2020/21.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has already signed on the dotted line, with fans hopeful that a new right-back and striker can follow the Dane to north London.

Exits must happen as well with players on the fringes of the first team needing to move on to play regularly elsewhere.

But which of the current squad have a long-term future in north London under Mourinho?

football.london takes a look at the players who could still be part of his plans three years down the line.

Paulo Gazzaniga

As Hugo Lloris previously admitted he probably wouldn't finish his career at Tottenham, Gazzaniga will have eyes on the No.1 spot.

While many will have doubts over whether he is good enough to take up the position on a full-time basis, you can see him sticking around as back-up if he elects to remain in the capital.

Brandon Austin/Alfie Whiteman

It's likely that one of the goalkeepers will still be at Spurs three years down the line.

Which one though remains to be seen.

Toby Alderweireld

Mourinho is a big fan of the Belgian international and he committed his long-term future to Spurs in December by penning a deal until 2023.

Davinson Sanchez

The Colombian has featured regularly under the head coach and he can become part of Spurs' defence for years to come.

Eric Dier

Appears to be Mourinho's first-choice centre-back and now he's penned fresh terms until 2024.

Japhet Tanganga

Going nowhere after recently inking a long-term deal after a brilliant breakthrough year at the club.

Malachi Fagan-Walcott

Another one for the future after making his debut for the club in the Champions League defeat against RB Leipzig.

Ben Davies

His future role at Spurs may prove to be as a back-up option but Mourinho sees him as a key player.

Dennis Cirkin

The head coach has taken a real shine to the left-back and you would imagine he will make his senior bow in the 2020/21 season.

Harry Winks

Was left out of the team initially following Mourinho's appointment but soon became one of the first names on the teamsheet.

It's hard to see him going anywhere.

Harvey White

Mourinho has already stated that White will be part of his first-team plans for next season.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Signed a five-year deal after finally completing his move from Southampton earlier in the week.

Oliver Skipp

Possibly set to head out on loan next season in his quest to feature more regularly.

Mourinho has already stated that Skipp can become a future Tottenham captain.

Dele Alli

The boss is a big fan of Alli and he will remain unless Spurs get an offer they simply cannot turn down.

Giovani Lo Celso

Pivotal to Mourinho's side and signed a permanent deal at the club back in January after initially joining on loan from Real Betis.

Tanguy Ndombele

It's really down to Ndombele if he will be here for the long run.

Replicate the form he showed at Lyon and he won't be going anywhere.

Ryan Sessegnon

Difficult first year in N17 but he's one for the future under Mourinho.

Steven Bergwijn

Already showed why he was brought to the club in January after some impressive displays.

The Dutchman has a major role to play over the coming years.

Son Heung-min

This one just isn't up for debate.

Key to Spurs and it would take an enormous fee for the club to part with him.

Lucas Moura

Inconsistent but started the most amount of games under Mourinho following his November appointment.

Likely to stick around given the boss tried to sign him when he was in charge at Real Madrid.

Harry Kane

As is the case with Son, interested clubs would have to pay top dollar to sign the England captain.

Troy Parrott

A player with a huge future in the game and his loan move to Millwall could see him hit the headlines.
